Xiao Mo (Fatty)

Their Story

Xiao Mo (Fatty) was initially adopted to be Bullet’s company. If you read Bullet's story, you'd know that he is an energetic kitty and loved companies. Fatty was rescued by a rescue group in Shanghai when he was still a wee kitten, didn't even have his eyes open yet. When he was ready for adoption, they posted his pics online. I loved him the minute I saw his photo. He was just soooo sooo cute. The first night I got him home. He immediately crawled on my head and decided it was his sleep spot. Fatty never liked other animals or humans. He only loved his mommy. Bullet got really excited the first night he got home and kept sniffing him, but Fatty just hissed at him the whole night and stayed on my head. Fatty has his own quirkiness. I discovered he can fetch like a dog when he was about a year old. This has become our favourite game over the years. He could play and fetch his toys, my hair band or something else that caught his attention for hours. When we finally bought our own home, Fatty apparently loved the central air conditioning. He was checking/getting fresh dose of air almost every hour from the air vents. The fan is next to it and he doesn't bother with it at all. I imagine he is probably singing to himself "cool wind in my hair..." After Bullet passed away, Fatty became my support and my anchor to process my grief while battling kidney disease, hyperthyroidism, and arthritis until he was finally at rest May 5 2026. I miss you so much my little shadow.
