Onida's story

Onida was my heart. She came into my life years after I lost my first dog. I was finally ready for someone new and there she was. 5 years old, unwanted from her breeder because of her color. Her name means "the one searched for" or "the awaited one". I met her and she didn't leave my side from the first minute. She was truly the one i waited for. Even though already 5 years old, she didn't knew anything except fear. But we pushed through. We learned together. She helped me with my depression and anxiety and I helped her with her fear. She finally learned how to be happy. She became part of everything. My better half. She became the most wanted "employee". Always up for cuddles and putting smiles on everyones faces. When my anxiety got bad, just touching her ears made me calmer. We were each others rocks. When I sighed, she sighed. We slept back to back and I still miss her warmth.
