Chewy's story

What can I say about my best friend, Chewy? He was a joyful soul, adventurous tail-wagger, and the very best boy. Chewy was pure happiness, and he found joy in every ordinary moment; like napping in a warm patch of sun or watching the birds and squirrels in our backyard. He loved tiny tennis balls, loooooong walks, his orange “krinky” frisbee, and peanut butter Kongs. But most of all; Chewy loved me. He loved me with patience, comfort, and acceptance—without words. For nearly 14 years, Chewy was my constant companion and a steady comfort. I miss him beyond measure, and I’ll love him fiercely for the rest of my life.
